We are SMASH Mind and Body

Our passion is to provide fun fitness classes and personal training, innovative mental health workshops and we do this together with the BEST well-being community in the world (no probably about it!). When we created SMASH Mind and Body in 2017 we wanted to help strengthen mental health through physical activity, and our journey to this moment has been incredible, with people training with us all over the globe! Unique online and in-person classes that put zero emphasis on weight loss, changing your body shape or transformation posts - our ethos is that the more kindness you offer yourself, the more you value this amazing body of yours! No matter where you are in the world, when you spend time with us you will feel empowered to love everything about you, and discover ways to achieve a brighter daily outlook. Life is too short to worry, so let us take you away from your stress for an hour and send you back a little bit stronger. This is where the excitement begins!

When you land at a SMASH session you will sweat, laugh, get stronger in body and mind and perhaps dance if you want to! We take physical and mental well-being seriously but we also know that the more fun you inject into your workouts, the more likely you are to keep coming back. This will help bring more happiness into your wonderful life! We show up and we do our best, whatever that looks like today - and that is always enough! You can go as hard or as light as you need, you’ll always have our support, guidance and respect.

Our workouts are suitable for all levels, and we really mean that! But if you are unsure about any medical conditions or old injuries that may impact your workout you can reach out to us here, we love a digital chat! Even better, our classes are free for everyone so there is nothing stopping you from joining us! Sam (She/Her) - Co-founderI have been a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor since 2015. Having previously been a listening volunteer for the Samaritans and a holistic therapist, I knew that I wanted to work with people to see just how amazing we can all be! I have had a rocky relationship with my body over the years but am now so passionate about working out for my mental health above anything else. I enjoy a challenge and wish to inspire people to embrace our individuality as well as our similarities as amazing human beings.

Sammy (She/Her)

I have always been sporty! I trained as a Dancer up until I was 18 but after a change of career path, sitting at a computer all day and struggling with health issues, I felt I needed to move my body more. Starting my gym journey I found I really enjoyed classes, making new friends and getting healthier. I loved discovering Martial arts and Body Combat became my passion (mixed martial arts to music) which I am now an instructor in. My current journey wouldn't be complete without the mindfulness that SMASH has taught me. It's so important in our busy lives and I truly believe that keeping my body and mind healthy is the key to my happiness.
