At SMASH Mind and Body we believe that everybody should have access to fitness and mental health support. We offer free, online classes as well as in-person (currently in London) classes and have a dedicated page for our follow-along videos. All of our classes and training is LGBTQ+ friendly and aim to offer a safe space to our amazing transgender and non-binary community. Online Classes

SMASH Classes
These 60 minute classes have been created by Sam, Ash and Sammy and happen during the week... but which class will you get? We keep it a surprise so that you can experience different training styles, a technique we believe helps build a strong body and challenges you to take yourself out of your comfort zone.

Core, Strength and Stretch
SMASH style! A 30 minute standing workout focusing on strength and conditioning followed by 15 minutes of floorwork focusing on core and glutes and finishing with 15 minutes of gentle stretches. Stay for the full hour or stay for your favourite section(s)!

In-Person Classes: London

Spin
One of the most fun and sweatiest in-person classes we offer! As with all SMASH sessions, there are no expectations from us, just a mindset to enjoy how your body moves... on a bike! Currently held twice monthly on Wednesday evenings in central London

SMASHcamp
Think Bootcamp... but kinder and with an amazing soundtrack! It's Sam and Ash's take on a workout formula of Functional, Strength and Endurance training so it's sweaty but always FUN! A 90 minute class where nobody gets left behind!

Power & SMASH60
Power is a full body workout where we punch, kick, sweat and smile through a 60 minute class and fight our 'monsters' that represent our stress, worries and anxieties! SMASH 60 is an hour in person SMASH class in Central London - but which style will you get? Book to find out!


In-Person Classes: Hertfordshire

Fitness in the Park! Buryfield Park, Ware

Weather dependant! 45 minutes of fun, fitness and time in the great outdoors!

All abilities are welcome and a “pay what you can” system is in place so that these sessions are available for all. The sessions will be a mix of strength and cardio but as with all SMASH classes there will be many many options so that you have the best workout for YOUR body!

Currently these classes take place on Monday mornings and Thursday evenings with specific times available when booking - in case of terrible weather we will move your booking to a different date!

In-Studio Classes:

Sam currently runs classes on behalf of four local gyms which non members are welcome to join. These take place at

Wodson Park Leisure and Sports Centre, Ware
Hartham Leisure Centre, Hertford
John Warner Sports Centre, Hoddesdon
Laura Trott Leisure Centre, Cheshunt

All of these classes are taught with the usual SMASH ethos and focus on loving what your body can do!


Personal Training & Life Coaching

Co-founders Sam and Ash are also personal trainers and qualified life coaches Sam currently has availability for one-to-one training online and in person. We also can create some bespoke written training plans for you upon request.

As with our classes our personal training sessions focus on all the amazing things that you are capable of mentally and physically! Sessions and written plans are always tailored to your needs and goals with the added mindful focus to be expected from SMASH!

SMASH workshops (around 45 minutes each)

Runners Workshop
Our online workshop focusing on injury prevention through strength and flexibility as well as tips on how to start or increase your running frequency safely.


Technique Workshops
We have three main technique workshops to help you stay as strong and injury free as possible when working out with SMASH or at the gym. You can choose to attend all three, or choose whichever you prefer.

  • Avoiding and reducing lower back pain

  • It’s not all about squats! – activate and strengthen the glutes

  • It’s all in the shoulders – the posture workshop
