Managing Stress

April is Stress awareness month, so for our 7 day challenge we want you to tune into your daily stress levels. It is natural for us to feel stress, some can be good for us and too much can be potentially overwhelming.

We have come up with an acronym to help you cope with stress at any one time, which we would like you to practice at regular intervals over the next 7 days.

Choose a cue, such as when you brush your teeth, when you put the kettle on, when you finish a call or a meeting, and go through each of the letters in turn to tune into how you are feeling. It might be that the first 3 steps are as far as you need to go. But do you need step 4? If step 4 isn’t enough at that moment, who do you need to go to for the final step?

The more awareness we have around our daily stress levels, the more we can identify triggers and self-care techniques.
