Workshop #4 The SMASH Running Workshop

Running is one of the basic movements that we as humans are able to do. It is something that we did with joy as children without putting much thought into it. In this modern era with so many apps and technology to "support" our running, it can be tricky to figure out what we need in order to be "a runner". In this 45 minute workshop we will go back to basics and give our top tips of how to safely increase your running frequency and/or distance, stay injury free and how best to stretch after a run.

Below are some suggestions for pre-run exercises, strengthening exercises and stretches that can help support your running. However, for any recent injuries or unexplained pain, it is always advisable to contact your GP or physio/osteo in the first instance.
