Every day is world mental health day

Hi everyone!

How are you feeling? Really feeling?

Take some time now to check in with your thoughts, feelings and emotions and know that each of them are valid. Also know that you have the power to make any changes, big or small, to bring more positivity into your life

How are you getting on with the October mental health challenge (see below)? What have you enjoyed the most and what has been the most challenging? Don't worry if you haven't been able to do it every day. The challenge is always there to come back to when you need it, and you still have half of the month left so there are plenty of new challenges to get involved with! This is why we try to view them as intentions and not goals/resolutions. We should always approach new habits with kindness and compassion and not give ourselves any reason to feel that one missed day is a reason to quit. Building new habits takes time, and this is exactly what this month's challenge is trying to create - a new habit. A habit of introducing ways to strengthen our mental health because, ultimately, every day is world mental health day

Here is another challenge for you, if you are up for it?! Why not reflect on the past two weeks, choose the challenge you enjoyed the most, and make it something you do every day until the end of the month (alongside the new daily challenges coming your way). Can you do that? Set reminders, use cues, maybe even ask a friend to do the same so you can remind each other! As always, we are here if you need any support or guidance. We are just an email, phone call or DM away
