Stress Awareness Month is Coming!

Happy March 1st dear SMASH London Community!

We hope you had a successful February - the month that seems to be over before it's started! March is the month where spring is around the corner. The drearyness of the winter starts to melt away to make way for a fresh start, perhaps the anticipation of a summer holiday is starting to kick in!

The SMASH team are working on some exciting projects right now, so our March will be full of a lot of excitement, continuing our SMASH Saturdays at Fitness First Angel, launching our online training programmes soon, and working on our very first half day workshop!

One month from now, it will be the beginning of National Stress Awareness Month. Throughout the month we will be getting involved in as many ways as possible, including feelgood theme spin, outdoor training during fair weather and the return of an updated version of SMASH Discovery! One of the main things we would like to do is work with some of the businesses in the area and provide workshops for you and your colleagues. We have provided similar workshops of different lengths, from a 20 minute at-desk 'exercise' to deal with the working day, to 60-90 minute workshops for an international corporation that we work with. 

If you think that your company would benefit from a 'reducing stress in the workplace' workshop, please do forward our details on to them. We have a more in depth email that we will be able to send on with details of all the different ways we can work with your company to help combat stress! 

On the 25th April we will be running our first half-day SMASH Discovery workshop. In honour of Stress Awareness Month it will be on 'managing stress', taking place at Fitness First Angel and will be from 11am to 2pm (including a 30 minute break). This workshop will include some teamwork, individual written exercises, lots of discussion (share as much or as little as you wish) and we will learn some great relaxation techniques. More details and booking will be available in the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime, set yourself 3 intentions for March. What do you want to get done over the next 31 days? Team SMASH have been listening to a lot of interesting and informative podcasts throughout February. Why not add this to your list for March, and get inspired!
