Setting Intentions....

Good morning all! Can you believe it is already the last week of November?!

The year is almost out and for many of us it means party season is coming... Maybe more food, more alcohol, maybe less time to train. It is this time of year where we relax a little bit more because we know the high-pressure of January is around the corner. Often, we find January is the time we make promises to ourselves. It is the time we feel the need to change things in our lifestyle that we do not like or want to improve. However, this knee-jerk reaction to the beginning of a new year does not need to be a necessity. Yes, it can be inspiring to make changes and improvements, but don't ever feel pressured to achieve something by a set date, or for any other reason than because you think it will make you stronger, healthier or happier. If you do want to set goals or intentions, do it with kindness and love, and always make it about you... and for you!

What if we start planning for our January now? If we set our intentions early and make steps towards the habits we wish to build or remove before the clock chimes midnight on December 31st, there may be a higher chance of us avoiding the pressure that seems to be expected of us come January 1st.

The SMASH London team are on hand to help with your 2020 goals in a number of ways!

👯Firstly, Sam is currently running a competition where you can win 6x personal training sessions and access to a January SMASHcamp or SMASH Discovery as well as a Christmas package for a friend (details of which is coming below). All you have to do to be entered into the draw is reply via email or social media by the end of Monday 25th November to complete this sentence...

2019 has been great because...

🤓We are also offering one-to-one intention setting sessions. Each session will be a half hour chat with Sam or Ash where we will sit down and help you set your physical and mental intentions for the short, medium and long term, helping you build new habits or erase bad ones with our support. The session alone will be £20, but package deals mixed with a fitness programme or personal training session can also be organised.

🎄SMASH London can also offer a great idea for Christmas presents! Our special Christmas package includes 2x Personal Training sessions and access to a SMASHcamp or SMASH Discovery to be taken in the next year. The cost is £50 for our special package, but different combinations of training and classes can be made so that you can treat your loved ones to the best start to 2020 that they can get!

🍾 Over the Christmas period there will be a reduced number of classes so the SMASH London team will be offering small group personal training sessions. There will be a limit of 4 people per hour session (£10 per person) and 6 people per half hour session (£5 per person) and they will be bookable through our website on a first come first served basis. Dates and times will be announced next week!

🗓2020 for us: From January we will be making some permanent changes, launching our regular SMASH Spin classes as well as more options for the SMASH classes in other parts of London.

🏝The idea for a SMASH retreat has not gone away and we will be working towards a SMASH London trip away incorporating fitness, relaxation, mindfulness as well as fun away from the hustle and bustle of London life!!

If you want any more information on how we can help you ask away! This week we launched our newest class 'Beat the Beep' (aka SMASH 21) created by some of our SMASH London community. The class was amazing and brought together a really great aspect of teamwork, with a combination of HIIT, strength and mindfulness. We are so proud of all of our community and weeks like this really highlight what we can do when we work together!! 2020 for us will certainly involve teamwork and friendship!
